JSerra High School: Pioneering Adaptive Sports in Orange County
JSerra Tennis Coaches Hoping to Establish an Adaptive Sports ‘Mecca’

At T3 Tennis, we’ve always believed that tennis can empower athletes of all abilities. That’s why we launched our wheelchair tennis program at
JSerra High School-
to provide youth with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy, challenge, and community that sports can bring. A recent Los Angeles Times article highlighted our efforts, and we’re excited to share the story with you:

Creating an Inclusive Environment
When we started this program, our goal was simple: create a safe, supportive space where children with mobility impairments could play tennis, build confidence, and connect with others. Our after-school clinics provide free weekly instruction, and we’ve been thrilled to see young athletes grow both on and off the court.
Life-Changing Impact
It’s been inspiring to watch our players thrive. Athletes like Gianna, who uses a prosthetic leg, and Nellie, who faces mobility challenges, have found friendship, skill development, and a sense of belonging through tennis. Gianna’s words capture it best: “Growing up with a disability, it’s hard to connect with people around you that are also like you. So having these opportunities are, in a way, life-changing.”
Building a Legacy of Adaptive Sports
We envision JSerra becoming a regional hub for adaptive sports, where youth with disabilities can consistently access programs that encourage skill-building, confidence, and healthy competition. With the support of our school, donors, and community, we are working to expand our offerings into a multi-sport adaptive athletics program, making this vision a reality.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Adaptive sports can transform lives, and we need your support to help more athletes access these opportunities:
- Donate to provide equipment, coaching, and program resources.
- Volunteer at clinics, tournaments, and events.
- Share our story to inspire more families, athletes, and supporters to get involved.
Together, we can continue to open doors for youth with disabilities and show that tennis is for everyone.
