A breakthrough performance at the ITF and USTA Level 2 event earns Sherif a national top-100 ranking.

Over Labor Day weekend, Sherif El Sharabasy represented T3Tennis at the prestigious ITF and USTA JTCC Wheelchair Tournament in College Park, Maryland (August 29–September 1, 2024).

Sherif battled hard in the Coed C Division, narrowly losing in the first round to the eventual champion, by just a single tiebreaker point. His determination carried him through to a 3rd place finish, and he also reached the semifinals in doubles, once again facing the same competitor.

This impressive showing paid off. Following the tournament, Sherif moved up to the B Division and is now ranked among the top 100 wheelchair tennis players nationally.

We are so proud of Sherif’s growth, especially considering that he has been competing in wheelchair tennis for less than a year. His performance at JTCC proves that dedication, resilience, and a love for the game can drive remarkable progress in a short time.
